Getting Started: Setting up your account
The Basepoint Wealth client website is a one-stop financial hub allowing you to track not just your accounts at Basepoint, but any financial account you have anywhere. In addition, you'll have access to reports borne out of the financial planning work that you complete with your advisor, and access to a secure Vault for sharing sensitive documents with your advisor team, and accessing brokerage documents (statements, tax documents, etc.) when and where convenient for you.
Step 1: Register for your financial website
Click the link sent to your inbox to get started. Then,
create your own secure user name and password. If you cannot locate this email, or if the link has expired, contact your advisor to receive a new email.
Step 2: Complete the introductory onboarding questions
Answer a few basic questions to help us understand your current finances and future goals. You can also add in information on the important people and organizations in your life that should be part of your financial picture.
Step 3: Connect your financial accounts
Connect financial accounts from any financial institution. Mortgage, credit cards, bank accounts, retirement accounts, life insurance -- all can be connected, bringing up-to-date information into a single hub of information that both you and your advisor can see.*
*Note: for spending accounts (like credit cards), only you can view transaction details unless you specifically elect to share more detailed information with your advisor
Step 4: See your finances come to life
Easily organize and track your financial goals with
spending and budgeting tools, investment monitoring,
and more using the Organizer. Then view the status of your accounts and progress toward your plan* from the dashboard - your one-stop shop for tracking your entire financial life.
